Tara Harris, APRN is a dedicated women’s health provider who has been caring for patients in Las Vegas since 2015. With extensive experience in both acute hospital and outpatient settings, she offers comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care. Her patients appreciate her clinical expertise and warm bedside manner, as well as her commitment to shared decision making and individualized care.
Believing that optimal health comes from a holistic approach that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit, Tara is passionate about empowering women at every stage of life. While guiding patients through the challenges of perimenopause, complex gynecologic concerns, and challenging pregnancies, she helps each patient feel confident, informed, and valued. Her care philosophy recognizes that every woman is unique, and she ensures that her patients leave appointments knowing their individual needs are understood and prioritized.
In addition to her clinical work, Tara is actively pursuing a doctorate in nursing practice. Her scholarly project focuses on women’s mental health—a critical area given the higher rates of depression experienced by women. Through her research, she aims to raise awareness and support gender-specific mental health needs, further underlining her commitment to a comprehensive approach to wellness.
Tara’s story brought her to Las Vegas from New Mexico, where she has become deeply embedded in her community. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and proudly cheering on her son as a hockey player. With a unique background as a master hairstylist for 18 years, Tara brings a creative touch to her practice, dedicated to making her patients feel both beautiful and healthy.
