Kari Whisman is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She started her career as a registered nurse in 2015 in women’s services. In that role, she attended deliveries, provided care to women and their newborns, provided lactation support and education, and cared for an array of gynecological patients during their time of need. Kari also has experience as a pre-operative and postoperative care nurse. In 2020, she decided to further her career when she obtained her bachelors degree from Western Governors University followed by her masters degree from Touro University Nevada. She graduated with honors in both her undergraduate and graduate program and is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health. Kari joins WHASN Centennial eager to offer compassionate care to women across a lifespan.
In her free time, Kari enjoys spending time with her family, playing pickleball, relaxing at the spa or enjoying anything outdoors.
