Diana Schultz MSN is a dual board certified nurse practitioner in women’s health as well as a certified nurse midwife. She provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecology care including family planning services, gynecological problem evaluation, well woman exams and hormone replacement therapy for women of all ages.
Diana attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for undergraduate studies graduated with a Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing in 1996. After working in labor and delivery for 15 years, Diana graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati with a Masters in Nurse Midwifery and a Post Masters in Women’s Health as a Nurse Practitioner.
In addition to routine obstetric and gynecology care, Diana has a special interest and experience in dysplasia (abnormal pap smear evaluation) including extensive experience in colposcopy examinations. She also has experience with navigating and treating hormonal disorders associated with perimenopause and menopause, and assisting with hormone replacement therapy.
Prior to joining WHASN Southern Hills, Diana worked at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, TX working with both routine as well as high risk obstetrics, and at Parkland Health and Hospital System in a specialty clinic performing hundreds of colposcopies and endometrial biopsies annually.
Diana is board certified by the National Certification Corporation and the American Midwifery Certification Board.
Outside of work, Diana enjoys spending time with her two grown children, Shaun and Lindsay, her granddaughter Ophelia, and her husband Paul. She enjoys traveling and is an avid scuba diver. She also enjoys sailing and photography, and she has never met a beach she didn’t like.
