Christina Kushnir, MD, MPH, FACOG

Dr. Christina L. Kushnir is a fellowship-trained gynecologic oncologist and board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist. Dr. Kushnir practiced gynecologic oncology for 9 years prior to joining WHASN. She completed her fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medical Institution in 2014; her Master’s in Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg Schools of Public Health in 2012; her residency training at the University of Nevada, Reno in Las Vegas in 2011; her medical degree from St. George’s University in 2007; and received her Bachelor of Science degree from THE University of Southern California in 2000, where she played Division 1 soccer, was the team captain, all PAC-10, and nominated All-American.

Dr. Kushnir enjoys teaching and is an assistant professor at both UNLV School of Medicine and Touro University. Additionally, she is clinical faculty for Ethicon Surgery and a proctor and case observation site for Intuitive Surgical educating physicians on new tools for surgery. She is also an instructor for Intuitive Surgical, and clinical faculty for ConMed. She serves as the chair of gynecology for The Valley Medical Center and is the Chair of the Robotic Steering Committee at The Valley Medical Center. Dr. Kushnir has 17 journal publications and has authored three book chapters.

Outside of work, Dr Kushnir is an outdoors woman. She spends her free time with her family camping, hiking, and cycling.

  • Vaginal vault prolapse
