Elyse Nguyen, APRN, is a compassionate women’s health provider known for her attentive listening and ability to create a comfortable, supportive environment for her patients. She understands that visiting a healthcare provider can feel intimidating, and she takes pride in putting patients at ease by answering questions thoroughly, easing concerns, and helping foster a more positive relationship with care.
Her philosophy is simple: patients come first. Elyse believes that open, honest communication and a strong, trusting patient-provider relationship are the foundation for better outcomes. She is dedicated to ensuring her patients feel informed and empowered, encouraging them to take an active role in their healthcare and make confident, educated decisions.
Elyse’s passion for women’s health was inspired by her own positive experiences with a provider growing up, motivating her to pursue a career where she could make a similar impact. She began her journey as a nurse and continues to work as a bedside nurse at UMC Hospital, bringing a well-rounded, hands-on perspective to her role as a nurse practitioner.
Originally from San Jose, California, Elyse moved to Las Vegas for her education and chose to stay and serve the community she now calls home. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, Pilates, cycling, crocheting, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. She also gives back to her community by crocheting scarves for unhoused individuals and group homes during the holiday season.
