Dr. Jamie Funk’s goal is always to be an advocate for her patients. She says,
“Seeing a women’s health provider can at times feel scary or nerve-wracking, but my goal is to provide a space for patients to feel welcome and safe to talk about anything!”
Dr. Funk is passionate about minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She also enjoys urogynecology, family planning, and of course, obstetrics. When asked about her favorite part of practicing, she says,
“I love OBGYN because of the relationships built over time. I have the joy and opportunity to be witness to some of the happiest moments of my patients’ lives.”
Dr. Funk was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. She embraces her Idaho roots and loves to return there as often as possible to visit family. She completed her undergraduate degree in biology, minoring in philosophy and psychology from the College of Idaho. She completed her medical degree at the University of Washington and finished her OBGYN training at UNLV.
When Dr. Funk is not busy, she loves doing yoga and Pilates, spending time with her cat Tommy, and enjoying all the delicious food and entertainment here in Las Vegas!
