Dr. Joseph Rojas grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. He received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he was awarded a membership in Alpha Omega Alpha (medical honor society). His residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was completed at the University of California, Irvine, where he met his wife and partner, Dr. Kirsten Rojas. They both moved to Las Vegas in 1990, where they soon started their own private practice. He became board certified by the American Board of OB/GYN in 1993 and is now recertified yearly by the American Board of OB/GYN.
Currently, he has privileges at Summerlin Hospital and Medical Center and at Southern Hills Hospital. He has a special interest in gynecologic, urogynecological surgery, and minimally invasive surgery, and has extensive experience in managing high-risk pregnancies.
